Multi Storey Car Park, Onikan

The completion of the Multi-storey car park, Onikan has improved the free flow of traffic in the vicinity and decongested on-street parking predominant in the environs which was the goal of the Lagos state government when we were invited to design the building. Parking for visitors to the Yoruba Tennis Club, Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, City Mall, Muson Centre, and the upcoming J.K Randle Development now have adequate parking.

The building which is on 2920 m2 of land accommodates 400 cars over the ground and five (5) suspended floors. Vehicular movement is one way, and all vehicles enter and discharge onto King George the 5th Street. Pedestrian movement is seamless with two (2) elevators and two (2) emergency egress stairwells.

All ticketing is automated via vending machines for tickets and payments and offices for controllers will be provided. In addition to the car park facility, the sixth floor accommodates a mixed-use multipurpose space. It will allow for 2 large banqueting rooms (800-seat auditoria and 600-seat banquet style) and a private exclusive clubhouse served by its dedicated lift.
